Policies and Agreements

Welcome to the Policies and Agreements page of Clinique Seenu. We strive to provide professional and therapeutic services in a serene and friendly environment, tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. The following policies and procedures serve as guidelines for both new and returning guests.

Reservations:

To ensure availability and secure your preferred appointments, we recommend scheduling in advance. Please note our cancellation and rescheduling policies outlined below. When booking your appointment, kindly inform us of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients.

Arrival/Late Arrival:

We kindly request that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows ample time to complete any necessary client forms (for new clients), change, and prepare for the session. Please be aware that late arrivals may result in a shortened session, as all treatments follow a specific time schedule.

Cancellation Policy/Reschedule/No Show/Late Arrival Policies and Fees:

We value your business and respect our scheduling policies. If you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance at 438-507-7595.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 ($30 for a half-hour session). Our staff often operates on an "on-call" basis and may have traveled to the office specifically for your service, thus compensating them for their time.

No Show Policy: If you miss your appointment without prior notification, you may be charged the full amount for the scheduled service.

Consent:

Before each massage session, we will discuss the treatment plan with you. On your first visit, you will be asked to sign a treatment consent form, indicating that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with our professional massage therapy or acupuncture policies and procedures. Clients who have not visited us in at least a year may also be required to fill out this form.

Scope of Practice:

As licensed professionals adhering to the highest standards of the Massage Therapy Association, our Massage Therapists aim to positively impact your health and well-being through manual techniques and adjunctive therapies. We are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, and focus on specific areas as per your request. You have the right to choose the level of clothing you feel comfortable with, refuse any massage methods, and request changes during the session. Your modesty will always be respected, with only the area being massaged left uncovered. Please note that our services do not substitute proper medical attention, and any specific medical conditions should be referred to a medical doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Confidentiality and Conversation:

We treat all client visits and conditions as strictly confidential. Your visit will not be discussed with anyone outside of our staff without your explicit permission. During the massage, you have the option to engage in conversation or remain silent, as guided by your preferences.

Sanitation and Hygiene:

We adhere to stringent sanitation practices. All equipment and linens that come in contact with clients are thoroughly cleansed using approved methods. Before and after each massage, our therapists wash their hands and forearms with hot soapy water and disinfecting solutions. Any breaks in the therapist's skin are covered with protective coverings. We request that clients come to their appointments clean and inform the therapist of any open wounds or areas to avoid. Our COVID-19 procedures and etiquette are in effect, and we kindly ask clients experiencing any symptoms to stay at home.

Existing and New Medical Conditions:

Clients are responsible for keeping their massage therapist informed of any ongoing medical treatments and providing written permission from their physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., to continue with the massage. It is also essential to inform the therapist of any changes in health conditions. For clients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapies, we require a doctor's note acknowledging their awareness and approval of the desired treatment.

If you have any questions or need clarification on any of the above information, please don't hesitate to contact our office at 438-507-7595.
